My husband and I have a passion for our dogs which has turned into an excellence in breeding and training. As a hobby my husband looks for Moose Antlers and has always wanted to use a dog to help. He soon learned that it was a recognized sport and off he went to Minnesota and competed our beloved pet Devils Double (Dee Dee the dog to the left). In 2015 we sent out two dogs Dee Dee and her grandduaghter Deer Creeks Blued Devil (Pemi to the right) was second for the under two category and was 6th overall out of all dogs. Our first year out to Minnesota we came home with the Amateurs World Title for 2013. We have been addicted ever since, and take our dogs to trials to go back every year to the World Championship hosted by Dokken Kennels.
2016 Update on World Championship Antler Trials
Upon returning this year we are very proud to announce Pemi won this years Amatuer Title and the Open Title. She was the fastest dog on three out of the four courses. This of course was a huge upset for the professional handlers at the event, and a huge surprise to us but she really kicked it up a notch. Dee Dee was competing against Pemi on the first day and unfortunately missed moving on to the finals by 40 seconds. Dee Dee is going on to 12 years old this July and we couldnt be prouder of her and is still Paige's and our favorite dog. I also want to mention that this year Paige and I got to go to Minnesota, and his two lucky charms helped him bring home two trophies!
