**Payment Information:**
- Payment is required to reserve a spot at camp.
- Accepted: Check, Venmo, or Cash (no credit cards).
- **Refund Policy:**
- No refunds except for emergencies (maximum of 80% refunded after May 1st).
- Space is limited; first come, first served.
- Remaining balance due by May 1st.
- **Important:** Campers may not bring outside food or beverages; all bags will be searched, and unauthorized items will be disposed of.

**Program Overview:**
We are a working farm offering an immersive horse experience that helps young riders understand horse ownership. This camp focuses on:
- Participants who can walk, trot, and steer a horse independently.
- Responsibilities such as cleaning stalls, feeding horses, preparing feed, and cleaning tack.
- Riding different mounts under instructor guidance to broaden the riding experience.
Daily activities include both mounted and unmounted lessons. At the end of each day, instructors will provide constructive feedback regarding safety and cleanliness concerning the campers' stalls, horses, and tack trunk areas. Campers will also help with meal preparation.

**Arrival & Pickup:**
- **Arrival:** Sunday between 3-5 PM.
- **Pickup:** Saturday at 10 AM.

**Daily Schedule:**
- **7:00 AM:** Barn management, feed horses, chores
- **8:00 AM:** Breakfast
- **10:00 AM:** Grooming, tack up, riding lesson
- **11:30 AM:** Un-tack
- **12:00 PM:** Lunch and unmounted horsemanship lessons; swimming (weather permitting)
- **2:00 PM:** Grooming, tack up, riding lesson
- **3:30 PM:** Un-tack, barn management, feed horses, chores
- **4:00 PM:** Feed and barn chores
- **4:30-5:30 PM:** Rest and possible shower break
- **5:30 PM:** Dinner
- **6:30 PM:** Evening activity of choice (one movie or games provided, with snacks)
- **8:30 PM:** Unwind in bunk room
- **9:00 PM:** Lights out
*Phones will be collected and returned on Wednesday evening for a 15-minute phone call home.*

**What to Bring:**
Each rider should pack the following:
- A couple of pairs of proper breeches
- ASTM-approved riding helmet & paddock or tall boots
- T-shirts, polo shirts, long sleeve shirts, and sweatshirts
- Jeans, shorts, swimsuit, and undergarments
- Paddock boots (required in the barn); flip-flops or sneakers for casual use
- Sunscreen and bug spray
- Bedding for bunk
- Shower caddy

**Horses:**
Horses will be provided and assigned based on compatibility with the rider. Campers may bring their own horses (at least 6 years old) with:
- A recommendation from their current instructor
- A video showing walking, trotting, cantering over small poles
- Proof of up-to-date vaccinations and Coggins
- Provision of grain with supplements
